Booking + scheduling
What should I include in an inquiry?
Share the property location, preferred shoot date, target launch date and media you are considering. Priority features, access details and listing-platform or social requirements are also helpful.
How much do real estate photography and media services cost?
Every property and marketing plan is different, so we prepare a custom proposal for each project. Rates reflect the property size and location, selected services and deliverables, scheduling, access and travel requirements. You do not need to know the exact scope before contacting us—share the address or listing, approximate square footage, preferred date and any must-have services, and we will recommend appropriate coverage with clear pricing before you book.
What is the cancellation or rescheduling policy?
You may cancel or reschedule without charge at least 24 hours before the appointment. Changes within 24 hours are charged 25% of the scheduled services. Same-day cancellation, unavailable access or a property that cannot be photographed as scheduled is charged 50%. ILP-initiated schedule changes are never charged to the client.
What happens if access is delayed?
The appointment begins at the scheduled time. ILP allows a 20-minute access window when the day’s schedule permits, but the booked end time does not move. If access still prevents work, the appointment may be treated as unavailable access. An agreed extension or return visit is additional production time.
How quickly will the media be delivered?
Delivery depends on the property, services and release deadline. We confirm the expected delivery schedule before booking rather than making one promise for every type of production.
Preparing the property
How ready should the property be when ILP arrives?
The property should be fully cleaned, staged, accessible and presented exactly as you want it photographed before the scheduled start time. The appointment is reserved for creating the agreed media.
Will the photographer move or arrange things?
ILP does not provide cleaning, staging, furniture moving or property-preparation services. Please set furniture, décor, lights, fans and window coverings before the appointment.
What happens if the property is not ready?
ILP may photograph the property as presented, omit areas that are not ready or accessible, or arrange a billable return visit. A property that cannot be photographed as scheduled is handled under the cancellation and access policy.
Can sellers, occupants or pets remain during the shoot?
Owners, occupants and pets should be out of the property for the scheduled shoot. If a pet cannot leave, arrange in advance for it to remain securely contained in an area that will not be photographed. People must not appear in media intended for HiCentral MLS.
Weather, aerial + twilight
What happens if it is cloudy or raining?
Cloud cover alone does not prevent a shoot. When rain, wind, visibility or unsafe conditions prevent exterior, twilight or aerial work, ILP will reschedule the affected portion without a cancellation charge. Interiors and unaffected services proceed when practical. A preference for different skies or lighting follows the standard rescheduling policy.
Is aerial capture guaranteed when ordered?
No. Aerial capture depends on weather, wind, safe operating conditions, FAA requirements, airspace authorization and site restrictions. ILP makes the final decision about whether a flight can be completed safely and legally.
How should the property be prepared for twilight?
Complete exterior staging and test architectural, landscape, pool and water-feature lighting in advance. Remove vehicles, bins, hoses and maintenance equipment before the twilight window begins.
3D tours + floor plans
How long will a Matterport tour stay online?
For residential real estate, six months of hosting is included from delivery. Commercial, construction and facilities projects receive a hosting term matched to the project timeline. Continued hosting or transfer can be arranged when available.
How should a property be prepared for a 3D tour?
Every included space should be fully prepared and accessible before scanning. Owners, occupants and pets should be off the property for the appointment, all excluded areas should be identified in advance, and objects should remain in place once scanning begins.
Are floor-plan measurements exact?
No. Floor plans and dimensions are approximate marketing information, not surveys, appraisals, architectural drawings or guaranteed measurements. Anyone relying on exact dimensions or legal square footage should verify them independently.
Delivery, revisions + usage
Do I receive RAW photographs or source files?
Standard delivery includes the finished media produced for the order. RAW photographs, unedited footage, project files and intermediate files are not included unless separately agreed in writing.
What corrections or revisions are included?
Please report apparent technical errors within five business days of delivery. ILP will correct a material error attributable to our work. Photography and floor plans include corrections of clear errors rather than a general aesthetic re-edit. One consolidated revision round for video, social edits or virtual staging submitted within that period is included unless the order states otherwise. Changed staging, new preferences, added coverage and additional revision rounds are new scope.
How long are delivered files available?
Online delivery galleries remain available for 90 days. Clients should download and safely retain their files during that period. ILP keeps final delivered files on a best-effort basis for 12 months but does not guarantee indefinite storage, source-file retention or future recovery.
Who owns the delivered media?
ILP retains copyright unless a separate signed agreement says otherwise. After payment, the commissioning client receives the usage license described in the estimate, booking or applicable terms.
Can the commissioning agent keep using media after the property sells?
Yes. The commissioning client may continue displaying the media as an example of a past transaction, but may not transfer it to another agent or business or use it to market another property.
Can a new listing agent, builder or designer use the media?
Not under the commissioning agent’s standard license. Subsequent agents and independent commercial users should contact ILP for a separate authorization or license.
Will ILP use the property in its portfolio?
ILP may use finished media in its portfolio and marketing after the property has been publicly released. Tell us before the appointment if a property is confidential, off-market or subject to an embargo so the restriction can be confirmed in writing.
